Presenters from the Child Advocacy Center in Warm Springs.OR and the Four Directions Clinic in Kyle, SD will detail how their programs were developed and discuss their successes and challenges along the way.

Rachel E. Locker MD
Dr. Locker has been the Clinical Director at Warm Springs Health and Wellness since August 2013 and has been a physician there for more than 20 years. She is a recognized expert in Family and Sexual Violence and has served as Executive Director of Snwiyaila Miyanashna (Talking or the Children) Child Advocacy Center, Warm Springs Health and Wellness Center. She worked closely with the FBI, Tribal Law Enforcement, the US Attorney’s office and Tribal officials to open this child abuse intervention center in 2012. This center is the second such facility in Indian country. She serves as lead Clinical Advisor to National Native Women’s Health Advisory Board and serves as IHS Portland Area Sexual Assault, Domestic Violence and Child Abuse Consultant She has published extensively and received numerous awards and commendations for her work.

Misty Hunter has 12 years of nursing experience in outpatient, women's health settings. She has been a Sexual Assault Examiner since 2014.
